I am a Machine Learning Researcher at Amazon Alexa, focusing on language modeling research. Previously, I was a computer science master’s student at Stanford University. Generally, my interests lie at the intersection of linguistics, sociology and machine learning. If you're curious, check out some of my papers. Most of my previous research was done at the Stanford NLP lab under the mentorship of Dan Jurafsky.  

I grew up in Berlin, Germany, but have spent some time living in Guatemala and the United States. Growing up speaking 3 languages at home, I have always been fascinated by the interplay of technology and culture.
